Prospective Students

Graduate Students: To work with the Personal Robots Group for graduate school, you must apply to the graduate program in Media Arts and Sciences and list the Personal Robots Group as one of your research groups of interest. The Media Lab admissions committee will ensure that your application is processed through the proper channels. Please do not email us directly with application materials. If you are interested in learning more about the research group and the general program in Media Arts and Sciences, resources and FAQ’s can be found on the Media Lab admissions page, or in the Current Projects section.

Undergraduate Students: The Personal Robots Group is always looking for highly motivated undergraduates to help out with our research projects. If you are interested in doing a Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) with us, please contact the graduate student whose work aligns with your interests or contact our administrative assistant Polly Guggenheim.  We will be posting specific openings on this page soon. More information about UROP can be found on the MIT UROP page.
